Help:Editing
Editing a page is very easy. Simply click on the "edit this page" tab at the top of a wiki page (or on a section-edit link). This will bring you to a new page with a text box containing the editable text of the original page. If you just want to experiment, please do so in the sandbox; not here.
Upon editing a page, you will probably notice a lot of special characters. This is referred to as "Wikipedia:Wiki syntax". It is purely designed to make formatting easier. Don't worry, however; it is very easy to learn and understand and there is a very well laid out table of the various syntax with examples — take a look here.
After you have finished editing a page, you should also write a short edit summary in the small field below the edit-box—this helps others know what changes you made 'at a glance' when they look at the edit history. You may use shorthand to describe your changes, as described in the legend, and when you have finished, press the "Show preview" button to see how your changes will look. If you're happy with what you see, be bold and press the "Save page" button. Your changes will immediately be visible to other users.
MediaWiki
The Win-Test Wiki is utilising the Mediawiki [1] software, which is the same used by Wikipedia [2]. As a result, there are some excellent MediaWiki guides on editing pages:

Special ‘interwiki’ links on the Win-Test Wiki
Wikipedia articles
You will have maybe seen some links whilst reading pages on the wiki which are prefixed with "Wikipedia:" (e.g. Wikipedia:Example). As the name suggests, these are simply special "internal" links (otherwise known as "interwiki" links) that take you to Wikipedia referencing that article.
Editing pages
I have made it possible to create "internal links" (e.g. [[Help:Contents]]) referencing Wikipedia articles, as it too is based on the same software, [3].
To use such links on wiki pages, use the following syntax:
[[Wikipedia:Article_name]]
For example, to link to the Wikipedia article on ham radio, use [[Wikipedia:Ham_radio]].
Note that when you save the page, the underscore will of course be replaced with a space.
